Wheelchair accessible trails in Oregon

Routes mapped as wheelchair accessible, longest first.

This list is short, and the shortness is the honest answer rather than a gap we are hiding. It holds the Oregon routes that someone has actually recorded as wheelchair accessible in OpenStreetMap — a few dozen, led by the paved rail-trails and river greenways that do this best: the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail, Bear Creek Greenway, Fanno Creek Trail, the Trolley Trail.

Where a route is only partly navigable, it is left off rather than included with a caveat. A boolean cannot say "passable for the first half", and putting a trail on an accessibility list when somebody could be stranded partway along it is the one error here with a real cost. The same applies where segments of the same route disagree with each other: no claim is made.

What this list is not is a survey. Nobody has systematically audited Oregon trails for accessibility and published the result — not us, and as far as we can tell, not anyone. What is below is what the map knows. If you know a route that belongs here, the underlying data is OpenStreetMap and anyone can correct it.
